Families, Friends and Community Members New Volunteer Process To ensure the safety of all children in our district, starting July 1, 2017, all volunteers must be fingerprinted. The prints will be at no charge through Bristol PD by appointment only. If at any point in the school year you volunteer, chaperone a field trip, or work with our students please follow the process below. Here is what you need to know:
Primary List- Valid VT Driver's License, Valid Non-Driver ID, Valid Government ID card or US Passport. Secondary List- Valid Credit Card with signature, Valid Student ID, SS card, Check Cashing Card with Signature, Military ID. You can have two forms of ID from the primary list or one from each list, but not two from the secondary list. Frequently Asked Questions: When can I start volunteering? Once the initial check is done (2 days), you will be permitted to volunteer pending print results. Do I have to do this every year? Once the entire process is complete and we have received all results, you are permitted to volunteer for 3 years without retaking prints as long as you volunteer at least once each school year.
